Candle haul

Hi everyone,

So today, I got an email from bath and body works giving me coupon for 10$ of any 30$ of more purchase. Also, the candle are 2 for 25$ here in Canada. So I decided to to try some new spring/summer scent candle. I don't like these scent as much as the fall/winter candle, so I don't buy as much, but I like to have a couple in my room, in case i'm in the mood for these kind of scent.

So I spent maybe 30 minutes in the store smelling almost every candle they had. I ended up with these:

Market peach is described as fresh-picked peaches by the bushel with a touch of red raspberry and citrus, layered with notes of rich vanilla.

I love the smell of peach, so I new I wanted a peach smell, in one of the candle I was going to buy. I was hesitating between this and Peach Bellini. It smell pretty good in the candle, but I remembered that my brother have the hand soap at his house and I really didn't like the way it smell on my hand.

Bahama Fizz was recommended by the girl that helped me in the store. She told me it was her favorite candle, so I smelled it, and I really liked it. It is described as a refreshing concoction of island pineapple, banana and fresh kiwi, infused with spiced rum and coconut.

I usually don't like banana scent, and I don't like it in this candle, but it doesn't smell very strong. The fresh kiwi and coconut are stronger. The pineapple bring the sweetness in the scent. And when you burn it it smell wonderful.

I was missing 5$ to make the 30$ needed for the coupon. So I bought the 2 mini candle that were 2 for 5$.

Mango Beachwood smell like juicy mango and mandarin combined with pineapple, cedarwook and tonka bean. I really like mango, I was searching for a pure mango smell, they didn't have one, so I opted for that one.

Finally I bought the Sea Spray candle. It is describe as a refreshing combination of cool salt air and cucumber water with notes of sandalwood and sparkling citrus. It describe pretty well the scent. It is a very fresh smell. I really like it and it is actually my father's favorite scent, so if you are looking for a man maybe...   I was hesitating between this one and the Bahama Fizz to buy in full size. I ended up picking the Bahamas Fizz, but I still really like Sea Spray.

On a other note, I bought a new perfume today. I know know, it is terrible, but perfume is my weakness. I bought a small size of DKNY golden delicious.

I'm usually attracted to night time scent, and this is one of them. My last post was about DKNY Red Delicious, which is a day scent, but golden delicious is a lot more my style.

And in my defense, it is a really small bottle.

Hope you are having a wonderful day.
Love

New Bag

Hey everyone,
I was going to post a candle haul from bath and body works, but when I got back home today, they were a package at my door.

I love receiving packaging at home. I already knew what it was, so got home and ripped the package open, and was so happy when I saw the bag. So there it is:

Yes it is the inspired (faux) Alexander Wang Rocco bag from ebay, the "Focco" as Laura "Lollipop26" named it.

I know I'm late on this bandwagon but I did just get this bag.

First impression,
I really like it. I mean for the price it does feel sturdy. Of course, it is fake leather, and the stud are not as heavy as the real Alexander Wang bag. I am against fake designer bag, but  with my part time pay check I can't afford the real deal. So for right now, I like it. Also, you can't see nowhere an Alexander Wang label, so I feel like it is not a knock off, but a inspired bag, so I can justified it.

I really like the color, it is a grey/lilac shade. I was a hard choice between this one and the black one, but I have so many black bag, and I have never had a grey bag. I like the fact that is more lilac/grey than silver/grey.

And yes I love the studs:)

So that it, just a little post for you,
my candle haul will be up next, soon

Hair Product

Hi everyone,
so today I wanted to share with you my everyday hair routine.

So first of all my shampoo and conditioner. I don't have a specific shampoo or conditioner, I usually just buy the one that are on sale.

Right now i'm using the Organix Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner.

I like it, but I like to change them because I fell they work better. So I will not repurchase it. I will find an other one when I finish those bottle.

Then when I get out of the shower I use the Bumble and Bumble tonic lotion.

On the bottle, it says to spray it your scalp, but I actually don't like it that way. I use it on the bottom half of them. I spray maybe 5 or 8 times.

After that I separate my hair in two and spray John Frieda Frizz-Ease leave in conditioner.

I don't have a lot to say about this product expect that I really like it. So I spray that on both side in my hair avoiding the scalp.

After that, I use CHI silk infusion. I've been using this for so long I don't remember what my hair look like without it.

It is a little bit expensive, but it last for a very long time, and I really like what it does to my hair. I basically put a little bit in my hand and run it through my hair.

And then i'm usually done, because I like to air dry my hair.

But on day that I want to straighten my hair I use Straight Sexy Hair straightening balm. I really like the smell of that product. But I can't tell you I really like what it does to my hair. I'm just trying to finish the bottle, and probably not repurchase it.

I air dry my hair. And then use the TRESemmé heat protector, and straighten my hair with the the jet black hair straightener.

The heat protector works really good, It is a cheap product that work really well. And the hair straightener is really good, kind of expensive, but I love the way it make my hair look.

So that it. It's look complicated here, but I swear, it only takes a couple of minute if I don't straighten my hair.

So that it for today,
Hope you're having a great week,
Love Laurence

To Me, From Me

Ok, so let get this clear, I love perfume. I kind of obsess with them. I have so many. It's kinda ridiculous. But still, today I went to my drugstore for some basic stuff when I found myself looking at some discounted perfume and I saw this:

Ok so I'll start by telling you that I don't need another perfume. but I really like the DKNY be delicious, and I own the candy apple in sweet caramel, a limited edition from a couple of years ago. I wear it all the time in spring and summer. So when I saw the Red Delicious for only 20$ I couldn't pass the opportunity. So I bought a little gift for myself.  When I got home I immediately rip off the packaging to smell it.

So my verdict??
I like it. It a good everyday daytime perfume. When you fist spray it, you can smell the apple and a kind of champagne smell. And then you can smell some lichee, raspberry, a little bit of rose, some musk and vanilla.

It smell kind of energetic, if that make any sense. You can read on the bottle 100% pure New York, and it totally describe the scent. It would work perfectly for that day when you are running around doing a million thing. Also I read online that the scent last for a long time, so it kind of make sense, right??

So would I recommend this? I would stick with the regular DKNY Be delicious, I probably wouldn't of buy it if it wasn't on sell. But still a good everyday scent.

On a other note I also bought this for me today.

My hips probably don't need these, but I really like Jelly Beans, so what can I say.

Hope you have a nice week.
Love, Laurence

Currently reading ( FRACTURE by Megan Miranda )

So for my first post I decided to talk about the book I'm currently reading. I first saw this book on allthatglitters21 book haul she posted not so long ago on her vlog channel. On her video she read the back of the book and it totally suck me in.

It basically says:
A lot can happen in eleven minutes. Decker can run two miles easily in eleven minutes. I once wrote an English essay in ten. No lie. And god knows Carson Levine can talk a girl out of her clothes in half that time.
Eleven minutes might as well be eternity underwater. It only takes three minutes without air for loss of consciousness. Permanent brain damage begins at four minutes. And then, when the oxygen runs out, full cardiac arrest occurs. Death is possible at five minutes. Probable at seven. Definite at ten. Decker pulled me out at eleven.

So it kind of remind it me of If I Stay by Gayle Forman, a book that I adore.

So I started this thinking I would jump in it and read it really fast, but it is not the case. It's been almost a week and I am on page 157 of 264, and I usually read book pretty quickly.

I enjoy this book very much, but I don't know why, I can't get into it. It have this weird twist to the book and I'm not sure where the story line is going. I usually like that in a book, but in this kind of book  I didn't see it coming.

I'll do a full review when I'll finish the book.

Have you read this book? Tell me about it, leave a comment about it.

Love, Laurence
