My Kindle

Hey everyone

you guys know I love reading, and you guys know, that right now I am in France for three month. In three month, I can probably read about 15 to 20 books. Of course, I can't carry 20 books in my suitcase. So just before leaving I bough a kindle 6 (I think). The last one, not the touch one, or the kindle fire, just the regular one.

I finally decided on the kindle, because I already buy most of my book on amazon, I was an easy decision for me.

I have been reading a little bit on it since I got it, and I love it. I love the quote application. I like to underline some quote in some book. I like that you can see what other people underline, and you can underline some quote of your own.

So easy, so light, it's lighter than a paperback book. I love it.

I bought the cover on amazon, because knowing me, I was going to drop it on the first day and break it. So I needed a cover, and while

I was searching for a cover I saw this skin. I love it. It was a little bit expensive, but I really wanted it. I love Paris, so when I saw that I just had to get it. They had a New-york one, but in the end I really liked the Paris one.

Summer Book

Hey everyone, so summer is here.

I am so excited. Summer is not my personal favorite season, but I like when the weather get warmer.

So keeping with the summer time, I wanted to show you some of my favorite summer books. You guy probably know, but I love reading, and summer is perfect for some light easy beachy kind of book.

So my number one favorite book for summer is Amy & Roger's Epic Detour. I don't feel this book get enough love :).

It is about, a girl named Amy (really :) ) who have to cross the country because she is moving. Only problem is she can't drive because of something that happen with her dad. So her mom "hired" the son of a family friend to drive her, and then they take a massive detour. This book is so cute, I love it.
Please go read it. If there is only one book from this list you can go and get, please go get this one.

Plus one thing that is pretty cool, is this book is written like a scrapbook, like the first page is the report card of Amy,

And then I really enjoy the The summer I turned pretty book from Jenny Han. This series was amazing, I loved it. It about a first love, summer, family and a coming of age story. And I love Conard.

The Lucky one book review

Yes this is my very first Nicholas Sparks book. I saw many of his movie, my favorite is A walk to remember (yes I loved The notebook but not my favorite), but I have never read any of his book, maybe because I'm not that into romance story. I like some romance in a book, but I don't usually like it when it is only romance.

Having said that, I really enjoy this book. With the movie coming up soon, I wanted to read the book before. I like the idea of someone finding a picture of someone and just knowing you have to find that person.

I have to say, I love the cover.

This is the summary from goodreads:

The story was very engaging, and I finished it before I knew it. It is written in three point of view.

I do feel this book was a little bit stereotypical, the beautiful people, the villain you love to hate and the storyline, but I feel it's the way Nicholas Sparks write, so you have to know that before getting yourself into the book.

The epilogue was a bit tricky, but I was happy with the ending.

And of course being a dog lover, how couldn't I love Zeus.

Current favorite (March edition)

Hi everyone, 

So today's post will be on my favorites items for the month of March. 

March was a strange month, two week ago, the weather was so hot, it was almost 30 degrees, which for Canada is really warm for March. Now the weather has calmed down, but it is still a little warm for the end of March, beginning of April. 

So this month I have two perfumes favorites:

My place or yours Gina is a really warm and sexy scent. It is a very woody sweet scent. It has a spiciness that I love. It is perfect for the night time, even if I've been wearing it mostly during the day. I've been wearing it for those colder day. 

And then for the warmer day, I've been loving Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I love this scent, it is a perfect summer/spring scent. I have this scent for one year now, and I always take it out during this time of the year. It is a grassy vanilla scent, if that make any sense. 

I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup this month, but the blush of the month has been peachykeen by MAC. I love this blush, it was one of the first blush I bought from MAC and I've loved it since. I just love the effect it has on my skin. 

With the warmer day coming I took out my Hoola bronzing powder. I use it for an all over face bronzing powder and since it is a matte powder it is perfect. 

For lips, I've been loving NYX Sweet heart Mega Shine LIP Gloss. I love it on its own, or I've been putting it over Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick a lot and I love it. 

  

This month I've read two Simone Elkeles book. I read her perfect chemistry series a long time ago and fell in love with it, and recently decided to try her Leaving paradise series. All I can say is OMG I love this series so much.

It is written in both point of view, I always love book that I written in guy point of view. Since I'm a girl I like to see what guy think about some situation.

Currently reading ( FRACTURE by Megan Miranda )

So for my first post I decided to talk about the book I'm currently reading. I first saw this book on allthatglitters21 book haul she posted not so long ago on her vlog channel. On her video she read the back of the book and it totally suck me in.

It basically says:
A lot can happen in eleven minutes. Decker can run two miles easily in eleven minutes. I once wrote an English essay in ten. No lie. And god knows Carson Levine can talk a girl out of her clothes in half that time.
Eleven minutes might as well be eternity underwater. It only takes three minutes without air for loss of consciousness. Permanent brain damage begins at four minutes. And then, when the oxygen runs out, full cardiac arrest occurs. Death is possible at five minutes. Probable at seven. Definite at ten. Decker pulled me out at eleven.

So it kind of remind it me of If I Stay by Gayle Forman, a book that I adore.

So I started this thinking I would jump in it and read it really fast, but it is not the case. It's been almost a week and I am on page 157 of 264, and I usually read book pretty quickly.

I enjoy this book very much, but I don't know why, I can't get into it. It have this weird twist to the book and I'm not sure where the story line is going. I usually like that in a book, but in this kind of book  I didn't see it coming.

I'll do a full review when I'll finish the book.
