8 most worn things

Hi everyone,

I'm in my finals week, so I don't have much time, but I wanted to upload a quick little post.
I was watching on youtube some old videos. I was watching the 8 most worn thing, so I decided to this one.

First question is most worn lipstick/lipgloss :
I dont wear lipstick all the time. but when I do, I love revlon nude attitude. I love it better than Mac Myth. I don't know why, I just like it better on me.

And then for lipstick I would tell you sweet heart from Nyx, but it's been MIA for the last couple of days. So instead I've been wearing MAC Dazzeglass in Date Night. Yes it is purple, but one a nude lipstick, it is beautiful.

My most worn earring:
I don't wear earring, like never ever. I don't know why, I just never been I earring kind of girls.
I'm going to skip tis question, because I almost never wear jewelry.

My most worn shirt:
This is kind of boring but my most worn shirt would be these camisole from everywhere. I don't care were it is from, I just buy them in every color. I always wear them under everything.

PS: this one is from forever 21, for like 3$

My most worn nail polish:
I change my nail polish almost every two or three days. But if I had to choose I would say O.P.I Do you lilac it? I really like it for spring.

My most worn shoes:
The last couple of days, it has been pretty cold wear I live. So I've been wearing some really basic light/brown boot. But they totally broke on me two day ago. So I can't show them to you, but they were from Steve Madden, from maybe two season ago. But they have them in store every years, so this is the link: the style name is Candence

My most worn hair product:

Beside my shampoo and conditioner, I would have to say I wear the John Frieda Leave-in fortifying spray.

I've been using this product for a pretty long time. I have gone through a couple of bottle.

But I am almost out of this bottle, I have probably one or two use left. So I don't know if I will repurchase this product or try a new one.

So If you have any recommendation, leave it in the comment bellow.

My most worn perfume:
I love perfume, I switch my perfume almost everyday, but I do mix them. I mix my body spray with my perfume, or my

So I can't choose just one, but I will show you the two perfume I probably wear the most.

I love the Chanel Chance, I got this is fall last year, witch is probably weird because is it more a spring/summer scent.

And then, since spring is coming up, I've been wearing Marc Jacob Daisy a lot.

Finally, my most worn purse/handbag:
Since I still have class I have been wearing this bag a lot.

My mom bough me this bag a really long time ago, because of the long handle. At first, I didn't think I would wear it a lot, but I have been wearing it almost every single day, to go to class, since I had it.

So that's it.
Have a great week.

The Lucky one book review

Yes this is my very first Nicholas Sparks book. I saw many of his movie, my favorite is A walk to remember (yes I loved The notebook but not my favorite), but I have never read any of his book, maybe because I'm not that into romance story. I like some romance in a book, but I don't usually like it when it is only romance.

Having said that, I really enjoy this book. With the movie coming up soon, I wanted to read the book before. I like the idea of someone finding a picture of someone and just knowing you have to find that person.

I have to say, I love the cover.

This is the summary from goodreads:

When U.S. Marine Logan Thibault finds a photograph of a smiling young woman half-buried in the dirt during his third tour of duty in Iraq, his first instinct is to toss it aside. Instead, he brings it back to the base for someone to claim, but when no one does, he finds himself always carrying the photo in his pocket. Soon Thibault experiences a sudden streak of luck—winning poker games and even surviving deadly combat that kills two of his closest buddies. Only his best friend, Victor, seems to have an explanation for his good fortune: the photograph—his lucky charm.
Back home in Colorado, Thibault can’t seem to get the photo—and the woman in it—out of his mind. Believing that she somehow holds the key to his destiny, he sets out on a journey across the country to find her, never expecting the strong but vulnerable woman he encounters in Hampton, North Carolina—Elizabeth, a divorced mother with a young son—to be the girl he’s been waiting his whole life to meet. Caught off guard by the attraction he feels, Thibault keeps the story of the photo, and his luck, a secret. As he and Elizabeth embark upon a passionate and all-consuming love affair, the secret he is keeping will soon threaten to tear them apart—destroying not only their love, but also their lives.Filled with tender romance and terrific suspense, The Lucky One is Nicholas Sparks at his best—an unforgettable story about the surprising paths our lives often take and the power of fate to guide us to true and everlasting love.
The story was very engaging, and I finished it before I knew it. It is written in three point of view.

I do feel this book was a little bit stereotypical, the beautiful people, the villain you love to hate and the storyline, but I feel it's the way Nicholas Sparks write, so you have to know that before getting yourself into the book.

The epilogue was a bit tricky, but I was happy with the ending.

And of course being a dog lover, how couldn't I love Zeus.

That's it,
Hope you are having a good week,
Love Laurence

Haul

Hi everyone,
today i'm doing a haul, I went shopping yesterday after class, and I bought a couple of stuff.

First of all, I don't know if you guy know about the Chan Luu bracelet?? I really like them, you wrap them around your wrist,
this is a photo of the Chan Luu bracelet,

PS: while I was searching for a picture I found a lot of DIY. So I think I will try it, and tell you about it.

I went to Forever 21, and like always, I went to the accessories section and I found this.

I cannot find the link on the website, and they were only one at my Forever 21. So i'm sorry, but I cannot give any link.

I really like it, I wore it today, and it goes with anything.

Then I found these shoes. I really like them, with the bow on the top and the polka dot. I have to admit I'm a sucker for anything polka dot.

So this is why I bought this shirt. I really like it. I probably wound't wear them together, a little bit to matchy matchy.

I find that I can wear it with a jeans and make it more casual, or make it more dressy by wearing it with a blazer.

In the shop they had a navy blazer and I really like it. So I just went and bought the same blazer. I don't have a navy blazer, and I feel blazer are so versatile you can wear them with anything.

The last thing I bought at forever 21 is this necklace. It just a simple leaf that I could wear with anything.

After I went to Dynamite, I bought this shirt, I really liked what was writing on it. It's really cute with leggings. Perfect for a casual day, were I don't really need to dress up.

Then I bought this bag. I already have two Longchamp bag and I love them. I have one "pliage" bag, but it have small handle.

Obviously the quality of this bag is not great but it was only 12$, so I did not expect much. But I think I would be really great for class or even traveling. And I really like the color great for spring.

My last stop was at as Bath and Body works. I just went there for soap. I just bought 3 dancing waters and 2 sea island cotton, because it's for my kitchen so I don't like it when I smell too strong.

So when I was about to pay, they were this bin with small hand lotion. I look at them and I saw this one, Fresh Picked raspberries.

I don't know if you guy remember but a long time ago The Body Shop had a raspberries body butter and I LOVED IT. Like seriously it was my favorite scent of all time. I finish it and went back to The Body Shop, but it was discontinued and I was so sad. So when I saw that at the counter I just had to buy some. So I bought two. It not the exact same scent, but it smell so good too.

That's it.
Hope you're having a great week.
Laurence

PS: I was nominated by Amy at OkayeAmy for the Versatile Blogger Award.
First thank you some much, I'm really touch.
Second, it will be my next post. :)

Vera Wang Lovestruck perfume

Hi everyone,

Today I'm doing a review on Vera Wang Loverstruck perfume.

I was never a big fan of her Princess perfume, the original one, to much vanilla I think. I have her Preppy Princess witch I think was a limited edition from last year. Witch I feel is a good day scent.

So lovestruck is such a girly scent. First of all, the packaging is adorable, I only have the roll-on, because I wasn't sure if I was going to love it, but the packaging of the perfume bottle is so pretty. I really want to get it after I finish the roller ball.

Picture from fragrantica.com

It is perfect for an everyday scent. I wouldn't recommend it for the night time, but it would probably good for a date scent. It have Pink Guava, Mandarin, Tuberose, Lotus Blossom, Precious Woods, Sheer Musk in it. It's just such a romantic feminine scent, I love it.

I've been mixing it everyday the perfume I was wearing that day. It doesn't last very long on me, so I am happy I have the roller ball so I can reapply it during the day.

That's is
Hope you are having a great easter weekend,

Love Laurence

Current favorite (March edition)

Hi everyone,

So today's post will be on my favorites items for the month of March.

March was a strange month, two week ago, the weather was so hot, it was almost 30 degrees, which for Canada is really warm for March. Now the weather has calmed down, but it is still a little warm for the end of March, beginning of April.

So this month I have two perfumes favorites:

My place or yours Gina is a really warm and sexy scent. It is a very woody sweet scent. It has a spiciness that I love. It is perfect for the night time, even if I've been wearing it mostly during the day. I've been wearing it for those colder day.

And then for the warmer day, I've been loving Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I love this scent, it is a perfect summer/spring scent. I have this scent for one year now, and I always take it out during this time of the year. It is a grassy vanilla scent, if that make any sense.

I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup this month, but the blush of the month has been peachykeen by MAC. I love this blush, it was one of the first blush I bought from MAC and I've loved it since. I just love the effect it has on my skin.

With the warmer day coming I took out my Hoola bronzing powder. I use it for an all over face bronzing powder and since it is a matte powder it is perfect.

For lips, I've been loving NYX Sweet heart Mega Shine LIP Gloss. I love it on its own, or I've been putting it over Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick a lot and I love it.

This month I've read two Simone Elkeles book. I read her perfect chemistry series a long time ago and fell in love with it, and recently decided to try her Leaving paradise series. All I can say is OMG I love this series so much.

"Maggie has just returned home from a long stay in the hospital to repair the leg that was badly injured in an automobile accident; Caleb has just returned from prison, where he served nine months for driving the car that hit Maggie. In spite of a court order to stay away from her, Caleb continues to encounter Maggie and even ends up working for Mrs. Reynolds, the same elderly lady who Maggie helps. Telling the story in alternate chapters, Elkeles reveals the traumatic accident and its consequences from both victims' points of view. Maggie can no longer play tennis and is now convinced that she is ugly; Caleb must endure the harassment of his former friends, especially the beautiful, seductive Kendra. Not everything in the crowded plot is adequately addressed, but Elkeles creates raw emotions, dialogue, and high-school ambience that's just right. Maggie and Caleb are complex and authentic teens whom all readers will embrace. Theirs is a delicate, delicious love story--without the happy ending."

It is written in both point of view, I always love book that I written in guy point of view. Since I'm a girl I like to see what guy think about some situation.

So this is it.
Hope you are having a good week.
Love, Laurence
